CNC Router (Programmer / Setter /Operator)

£12.00 + Per Hour (depending on experience) + Overtime

A successful and expanding shop fittings manufacturer situated near Smethwick in the West Midlands is currently looking for an experienced and self-motivated CNC Router Programmer / Setter / Operator to join their busy workforce on a permanent contract following a successful trial period.
The successful candidate will be working in a well-lit, modern, clean and tidy environment utilising state of the art equipment producing high quality fittings for well-known businesses in the retail industry.
Experience required:
* Previous experience of programming, setting and running CNC Routers
* Working with a variety of materials including hard and soft woods, laminates and solid surface materials including Corian etc.
* Ability to work from 2D & 3D CAD drawings / diagrams
* An eye for quality and detail including the ability to accurately measure
* Experience of working with BIESSE machinery or similar would be a distinct advantage
* Additional duties will include organising of all production schedules and feeding the workshop with processed materials
Personal qualities required:
* The ability to safely manually handle large materials to load and unload the machinery
* Excellent communication skills both in written and verbal form
* Ability to work well individually but also as part of a team
* Flexibility with workloads to ensure the job is completed within deadlines and timescales required
