£10.00 + Per Hour (Depending on experience)

We are working on behalf of a plastic mould tool making company based near Wednesbury in the West Midlands. Employing a highly skilled and experienced workforce the Company pride their ability to cater for customer requirements in all sectors and specification.
The Company are looking for an experienced Bench Hand to work alongside their experienced Toolmakers and CNC Machinists on precision tooling.
Duties will include:
•Assisting in the production and repairing of a variety of tools, jigs and fixtures
•Operating a range of conventional machinery including Lathes, Millers, Grinders, Shapers etc.
•Working from engineering diagrams and drawings to mark out work required
•Utilising measuring equipment including Micrometers, Verniers & various gauges etc.
•Working as part of a small, skilled team within deadlines and customer timescales
•Checking all work produced for quality and integrity
Applicants must have the following experience:
•Modifying and repairing of tools used in the plastic moulding industry
•Ability to understand and work from drawings and diagrams efficiently
•Use of conventional machinery including Lathes, Grinders, Millers, etc.
•CNC experience would be an advantage although not essential
•Be able to measure materials and tooling accurately
