Our client, an expanding shop fittings and joinery company, are looking for an Estimator to join their workforce. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop within the role and become an expert within the industry for a company that always recognise hard work.
This role would suit an Estimator from a joinery, shop fitting or furniture manufacturing background looking to take the next step in your career.
The Role:
Preparation of detailed and complex Estimates for projects
Calculating costs taking in to account labour, materials, logistics and deadline requirements
Assisting with the purchasing of materials for all Joinery work
Ensuring finished Joinery is of the appropriate quality and standard
Pursuing all estimates quoted to their natural conclusions
Taking jobs off and raising the appropriate invoices
Reviewing and communicating all associated job costs
The Person:
• The ideal candidate will have previous Estimating experience ideally within a Joinery or Shop Fittings business
• Knowledge of the Joinery industry is essential
• Estimating for a manufacturing environment would be required
• The desire to continuously challenge yourself within an industry leading organisation
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• Well-developed communication and negotiation skills
• UK Driving Licence (in order to travel to potential customer & supplier sites)
