CMM Operator
Permanent position (subject to successful trial period)
£15 per hour
PeopleLine are currently recruiting an experienced CMM Operator on a permanent contract with a growing UK automotive Quality Control & Containment business based in the Midlands supplying into various prestigious manufacturing businesses in the Northampton area.
Duties will include:
Operating various Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM's) to measure and inspect manufactured parts produced for the automotive & motorsport industries
Using manual gauges and measuring devices to supplement the CMM work carried out when necessary
Completing various quality control paperwork and presenting results to management and other departments as required
Experience required:
Previous CMM operating experience (Mitutoyo, Calypso, Brown & Sharpe etc.)
Knowledge of CMM software such as PCDMIS or MCOSMOS would be beneficial
Ability to use measuring gauges including micrometers and verniers, go, no-go gauges etc. is essential
Excellent communication skills
Team working ethic
Flexibility to work outside of your normal job role when required for the benefit of the business
Good literacy & numeracy
